I would actually watch this thing.

Heh. You know, there was a novel written using the super-collider as its base device. FLASH FORWARD by Robert Sawyer. It was turned into a TV show, too, which is actually pretty good, even though there isn’t enough stuff in the show about the super-collider or the Higgs Bosun.
